I was invited to participate in the SUITING WARRIORS FOUNDATION 2014 “RED, WHITE AND BREWS” event on MARCH 28. The event was lots of fun and it was a great honor to do my part to help American war veterans. I am an extremely patriotic man and respect greatly the sacrifices that our soldiers make for our continued freedom. Delaware State Senator Chris Coons was at the event to support the foundation. It was an honor to include my pop art in Suiting Warriors event!
The Suiting Warriors Foundation empowers veterans by helping supply them providing them with the professional clothes necessary for them to adapt to civilian life’s job market . Suiting Warriors Foundation acknowledges the service soldiers provide when committing their duty to their country. Suiting Warriors is committed to helping men and women find the confidence to succeed in their career search for their next stage of life. Suiting Warriors Foundation was created with great vision and passion by my good friend Star Lotta in 2013. Star was humbly inspired by the death of her first cousin whom suffered from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, among other mental and emotional illness, after returning from tours of duty serving our great country in the military. Lotta, a professional model with years of experience in the fashion industry, set forth to provide professional business wear for our returning vets whom often cannot afford to purchase their own suit or dress for an interview. Suiting Warriors was born from true compassion and vision.
I created this Pop oil painting that is in my outstanding POP WHAM style! It portrays The Ben Franklin Bridge with the lyrics to Elton John’s fantastic song “Philadelphia Freedom”, “CAUSE I LIVE AND BREATHE THAT PHILADELPHIA FREEDOM!” Rocky Balboa and the Philadelphia city skyline add to this great design.
